I have been using A DELL 2007WFP monitor for several years and on two different computers. Lately I am seeing grey shadows to the right hand side of elements on screen.
Would this be likely due to aging of my faithful old monitor? I have heard some suggestions that it might be due to a fault in the graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GT 440).

Today I went and got myself a DS PCI-E to USB3.0 I/Face Card 2 x USB 3.0 ports (http://dicksmith.com.au/product/XH1232/ds-pci-e-to-usb3-0-i-face-card-2-...) and I'm just wondering if I should have got something that is a little better than this. My understanding of this thing is that the bandwidth is shared between both of the USB ports. Is that true?

We have 2 Monitors per Desktop Computer at the place where I am currently working at, But the problem is, it takes a while to show the newer staff how to change the Resolution and Orientation of a Dual Display setup, where the Primary Monitor is Landscape, and the Secondary Monitor is Portrait, rotated by 90 Degree's right.

is it possible to take a photo with the inbuilt camera of the laptop and save it to the harddrive ?
if yes, how ?

I am thinking of buying a 2.5TB external hard drive for use on my Windows Home Premium 32bit version PC. My computer is about 2 years old and I've read that it may not work with hard drives larger than 2TB. Is this true?

After I shut down my Home PC (Desktop Intel i7 processors and Windows 7 x64) I normally unplug the power lead as I do not use it until the next evening. After plugging it in and pressing the power button it does not boot up - the fans start, the power button LED is on but the red LED does not come on and the monitor remains blank. Usually I can get it to come on after a number of retries (I press the power button for 4 secs to switch off - it beeps during this time - and then wait a few seconds before switching on).

Facing an issue here, I've been looking at PSU's and many claim to be "super quiet" and such, but in fact are not. Is anyone aware of a quiet, quality PSU that I might use in my next desktop?

i am deciding on which monitor to buy. i know Darren has reviewed the LG IPS 23 inch i think, in the February edition if i am not mistaken.

Many people have complained about the brightness, bleeding of something and other various things. It is actually as bad as they say? Also someone told me that IPS response times are worse than that of TN panels. Is this true? Does the response time on paper differ from product to product in reality? It says it has a 5ms, which is typical of a TN model.
