Q: Can't enable remote desktop access with Homeserver 12.03

Love your work Darren.
Just installed UserOS Homeserver 12.03.
Doesn't appear to be an option for enabling remote desktop access ie. Applications>Settings>Remote Desktop Setup isn't there?
Also, how do you disable laptop screen when lid is closed - options are Nothing, Suspend, Hibernate and Lock Screen?

Hi PC User,

I'm a regular PC User reader and have just purchased your latest magazine with your great new Home Server OS.

I'd like to know the best way to install and run this OS on a 16Gb USB Flash Drive.

I have recently purchased a HP Microserver which has a USB slot inside the box. Want to adjust the BIOS (if required) and want to be able to boot to this slot with a 16Gb Flash Drive containing your PC Home Server fully installed and don't know the best way to do this.

Would appreciate any help you could offer.

Q: TV Tuners for Android Phones?

Is there any 'chatter' about TV tuners for SmartPhones/Tabs (e.g. Samsungs Galaxy Note). I realise that such a tuner would need to access an antenna point and that makes portability a problem but there are situations where I could see the advantage of having live TV available on such a phone/tab. Or are the specs of these goodies just insufficient to handle live TV?

Hi Darren, I really appreciated your quick response to my aspect ratio
yesterday I had already used media info to verify the aspect ratio.using your settings of 1280x950 i achieved a full screen display
with a black boarder of approx 100mm all round as viewed on a 42in TV

Installed Kaspersky Pure on my computer, but when I tried to update data I received the message "malfunction cannot find server". Kaspersky cannot help me can you?

Q: Changing Video File Aspect Ratio

I have downloaded an mkv video file(1280x720-16.9-23.976fps. When i play the file on my Computer or Digital TV the image displayed is full screen horizontally but only 1 third vertically in the cetre of the screenI have changed the aspect ratio to a dozen different variations using RockPod5 and Any Video Converter with out any luck.I have encoded
the file to both Mpeg2 & mp4 but the results remain the same. the image is not squashed. What am i doing wrong?

I'm trying to burn an audio track to CD from Audacity as a WAV file to play in any CD player but the CD will only play back in my PC and only in Audacity. In a CD player it shows up as a blank disc. My PC runs on Win7 and has Media Monkey installed, Win Media Player is turned off. I didn't use Media Monkey to burn the disc

Outlook 2007; I click on address book, it says no entries. When I type a 1st letter in the "To" box it gives me address choices; where is my address book? ps not in "contacts"

Hi Guys,

I'm curious to know, how can you tell for certain that this board doesnt support overclocking? The latest March PC User mentions this in the Perfect PC article. I was looking through the BIOS and it appears as though I can play around with the CPU clock ratio, BCLK frequency, memory multipliers, and the voltages. I've also read the user manual and it too shows advanced menus for doing this. Admittedly, I have a non-K core i3-2130 CPU installed, so I didnt try to tinker. Cheers.
