I'm trying to burn an audio track to CD from Audacity as a WAV file to play in any CD player but the CD will only play back in my PC and only in Audacity. In a CD player it shows up as a blank disc. My PC runs on Win7 and has Media Monkey installed, Win Media Player is turned off. I didn't use Media Monkey to burn the disc

you need to convert your wave file to MP3 format before you burn a cd.
You can use Darren Yates RockPod5 on the January Disc for conversion.Also the
Ashampoo Burning Suite on the March disc is as good as any for
burning,simple to use and free.

Thanks John that's what I thought, but my know it all mate who's "burnt heaps of CD's over the years" told me I didn't know what I was talking about.
